Primata Eletrônica was founded in 1986 and has been focused on manufacturing electronic products since the beginning. We were pioneers in the production of timers for residential and commercial lighting in Brazil.
In the 1990s, we developed our first Digital Voltage and Current Logger for Medium-High Voltage, replacing mechanical equipment in energy distribution companies across all states in Brazil. This resulted in our first patent registration.
This year, the REATEST – Public Lighting Testing Device - was launched, designed to reduce operational costs associated with the maintenance of public lighting systems.
In the mid-2000s, we launched the clamp-type current transformers and our first generation of power quality analyzers for Low Voltage (P35 and P42 series).
Starting in 2010, the company expanded its equipment portfolio with innovation and quality, continuing a series of product launches and improvements in its lines.
The second generation of the P52 and P55 analyzer series was launched to comply with the current ANEEL regulations. All major accessories for the equipment underwent vertical production, with Primata starting to produce its own flexible sensors and voltage clips.
The energy analyzer series was connected to the internet (IoT) with the launch of the SMD_NET – Web Energy Monitoring Portal.
Medium Voltage Ammeters line was developed to provide a solution for analyzing loads or losses directly at Medium Voltage (up to 69kV). Additionally, the meter testers Equipment line was reinforced with the launch of the P18 – Three-Phase Resistiv Load.
Launch of the 2nd Generation of the P27 Digital Current Logger for Medium Voltage (up to 69kV), which is lighter and offers greater autonomy and measurement accuracy. New reports and functionalities were also developed in the SMD software for analyzing data from the analyzers.
Launch of the Single-Phase Bidirectional Load P17, used to verify the operation of electricity meters installed at service entrances of consumer units.
